Love it ... (Be sure to click the link to see the image I'm referring to!)

And something else to binge-watch if you've got the power:

It's not free in any meaningful sense, unfortunately ... so, I just have to take what I get.

The bridge has been glued in place. Another 24 hours to allow the glue to fully harden, then the big reveal.

What fascinates me most is that this glue holds the immense pull of the strings in full tension.
Only once in my life have I seen the bridge come off. A friend of mine had her classical guitar in the cupboard of an overheated room and had strung it with steel strings instead of nylons which was just too much tension on the bridge. There was an immensely loud bang, cracking and ringing of the strings that made us jump from our seats. Half the top of the guitar came off with the bridge.

That will do it. That's how we remove parts if we have to do major repairs; hot putty knife will soften most joints with a little coaxing. The much higher tension of the steel strings didn't help her cause.

There is a kind of inventive kids' toy which I glimpsed once in a store window and couldn't resist buying....not for any child, but for myself. The toy is an animal - Dog, Cat, Lion, Tiger, whatever - with a very large head and an open 'mouth' - into which one inserts a large colored soft ball (not unlike the popular 'Nerf' toys) - and then by squeezing the animal (in my case, a silly-looking Dog!) really hard - it makes a POPing noise - and propels the soft ball towards whatever the target might be.

The fact that real live children - including my two grand-kids - appear to like it as much as I do....is an extra unanticipated bonus.
