Daily Challenge Day to Day 85

Classes start today. A certain portion of the student body have not yet received their Covid test results, so they can't come to class. Not all the classrooms have their AV stuff in order, so virtual learning for some of the classes is out. Also, Zoom is having some kind of national outage in the US. My colleagues have cheerfully come to my office to dutifully report their problems. Given my long experience as department head, I have rewarded their efforts with sagely nodding. So, here's picture of the stuff on the counter behind me.

Heavy smoke pollution from the forest fires in southern Oregon and nearby northern California this morning, everything is grayish with visibly thick grayish air. Nonetheless I braved the outdoors with a long walk around the small town where I live - and happened upon this abandoned couch, polluting the local flora.
