Took a day trip to Martha's Vineyard yesterday. Nope, the President didn't catch me - I was a little busy. Well, maybe next time.

Most of the shots I took were family snaps, but managed to snag a few I thought I can share here. All with the X-E1 and the 18-55 zoom.

I took this on our way out of Woods Hole port, on a 45-minute trip to the island. It was about 10 am.

This is the Aquinna Clay Cliffs and Lighthouse. Lots of family snaps between the first and this. :p I thought I am required somehow to take a post card shot.

Kids can't help but take some time playing on the Oak Bluffs town beach, before we headed back.

A well-earned break here:

My favorite shot of the trip - my eldest being the perfect big sister:

The way to end a very tiring trip:

It's been so many years since I've been out there, Herbert. I love your postcard shot - that's a beautiful scene that I would be pleased to look at forever through the seasons.

Looks as though a great time was had by all!

Thanks everyone! Yup, tiring but fun. :)

Taz - I was happy, too, considering most of the shots were done when sun was at its peak. Normally I'd get washed out skies (and in fact I have a few shots like those), but we were lucky that day. No early morning or early evening shots for me -- at least not yet as long as I have kids in tow during trips. :D
