Inspired by the recent article on 35mmc, I installed CHDK firmware on my Canon PowerShot A530 from 2006 and shot raw.

This camera is not going to replace my current gear but this is fun to get new life into the camera this way.

I think I'll walk about with this camera for a bit.

A bad sample showcase of raw recording since I let it clip pretty bad.

But with convenient histograms, highlight blinkies and raw I can handily ETTR and get pretty nice results from this small chip. There's plenty more extras that could help me further.
