December Doodads - Day Twenty-three

I went to the office to do some work and my doodad du jour shot appeared right in front of me:

I've never seen such a beautiful mechanical pencil - I guess you really can tell a workman by his tools. But I wish you'd used a wider aperture. I can read the text beneath it, and it's making my head hurt!

In my case it's more the company I keep because it was a gift. Of course, I'm now completely spoiled by it. As for the text, I get two responses. It's either a blank stare or "finally, someone is telling me how this all works".

I'm notorious for leaving holiday decorations up long after the holiday. I solved that problem for the tabletop tree (and delighted my husband, who's a sucker for transportation devices) with a "Planes, trains, and automobiles" theme.

I haven't been around and this is not really qualifying as a doodad. Took this last night - a fire juggler - outdoors on a cold windy night.

drd1135 took the words out of my mouth. And I'd like to add, not only is this fellow juggling doodads, but this photo gives the compliment "nice lighting" a whole new level of meaning!
