Challenge is now closed! There were 21 entries, so this could take some time..... hopefully post the result later this evening here.

This was a fairly dull scene, as the cloud was thick but with breaks here and there, and a lot of haze/mist. However, I think the entries that I liked the most where the ones that didn’t try to compensate for that too much. Though I also did like the more creative ones too. In the end, I narrowed the field to 10 and spent the last half hour looking at them and trying to put them into some kind of order. And in the end, was left with this:

2nd Runner Up - Dinobe. I liked the crisp, but light touch.

1st runner up - @Hendrik's B/W version. Yes, I did like the mood on this one. The fog really fits the scene, more so in this B/w version I think.

And the winner of this challenge - which had just the right amount of contrast was Rose’s first entry. The silo was a little too bright, but I liked the detail and ‘earthy’ slant to the colours - which added a bit of variety to the scene.

Oh - my goodness! This is so unexpected! I'll have a look and see what I can post. Thanks Alan ..... I think I don't look forward to having to assess other people's images.
