Raw and JPEG files are here #DDD137

As I'm not around on Saturday the challenge will close a bit later on Sunday 30th July at 09:00 BST.

Entry #1:

This was a well-taken photograph. - Nicely framed and correctly exposed. There wasn't much to do.

First ran the ARW through DxO PureRAW 3 for lens correction purposes, before importing the resulting DNG file into Capture One Pro 23.

Performed perspective correction, then fiddled around with Exposure, Contrast, Highlight and Shadow recovery. Finally warmed up the white balance a bit.

Mmmmm ...... With one thing and another I've not posted an entry to the challenge for a while. However, when I saw for the last few challenges that there were only a few entries I thought I'd enter as over the years I've learned so much from the challenges and I didn't want them to stop for lack of interest. For me to "win" the last challenge was a bit of a pleasant surprise:blush:

Now my challenge is completed unfortunately there were still only the three regulars competing and I like them all and could choose any of them! On the basis that between you, you've all hosted the challenges over the last month and from your comments you felt my challenge wasn't challenging enough I am going to suggest that I try and find a more challenging image and post the next challenge. If you'd prefer to have a winner I'm happy to select one, but if you're happy that I post another challenge then I will do so.

I'll give you time to mull it over and unless I hear that you'd prefer a winner I'll post a new challenge tomorrow.

I totally agree with you Ken. I have also learnt a lot more about post processing by entering these challenges. However, I have also run out of suitable images to use for challenges. I must look further back into the archives. From my point of view, I am quite happy for you to look for a suitable image for the next challenge and submit it.
