Entry #1:

Passed ORF file through DxO PureRAW 3 for lens correction and sharpening purposes, before importing the resulting DNG file into Capture One Pro 23 for further processing.

Performed Perspective / Keystone correction and cropped to 3:2 aspect ratio. Then maxed Highlight recovery to bring out the cloud details, and added some Contrast.

Bo, what is the origin of that large foggy blob on the left?

Entry #2:

Imported ORF file into Affinity Photo 2. Performed the usual range of lens corrections, exposure corrections, highlight and shadow recovery, before cropping to 3:2 aspect ratio and exporting to JPEG. - I'll be a bit more descriptive when I have got more to grips with this software and can remember exactly what I did and why.

Well, 6 participants and 1 non-contestant, not too bad.
Thank you all for participating and doing a good job.

@Peano one of these days you will forget to say it is out of contest and you will get the win! ;) Nice treatment!

The "blob" that Lyle asked about got really distracting when I knew it was there and the picture got processed, so I did give minus points for not fixing that.
In B&W it seems to disappear better so of the 5 pictures going to the finals, 3 was B&W.
Some of the B&W I found too sharp, I started to not use the Bicubic sharper setting for interpolation when exporting B&W's a while ago as I found that to make the pictures too sharp.

So my finalists are:
2nd runner-up: @WhidbeyLVR #2 a B&W
1st runner-up: @WhidbeyLVR #1 in colour, nice fix of the "blob" could not even tell it had been there and the colours match my perception.
Winner: @kae1 #2 a B&W, a little more contrast in this one which I like and I really think this picture lends itself to a B&W treatment.

I know I have placed Lyle at both runner-up positions, that is because I went by the pictures not the contestant, if I had gone by contestant @gecko would have been 2nd runner-up with his #2 B&W which I found a little too sharp.

So over to you Ken!
