Darkroom Challenge Digital Darkroom Derby #229

This is Digital Darkroom Derby #229, a digital image editing/processing challenge.

This will run from now until October 1

Please read the rules here. Short version: Host provides the challenge image and selects the winner, who then becomes the next host.
This is a photo taken with my Small Nikon P7100 I use as a travel camera.

Thanks for posting this challenge. - Seascape with sloping horizon + large dynamic range + "strange" white balance = Lots of fun fiddling around.

Raw file -> DxO PureRAW 4 (Mainly for lens correction purposes) -> DNG file -> Capture One Pro (Straighten horizon, Crop to 16:9, lots of fiddling around with Exposure, Contrast, Highlight recovery, Shadow recovery and White Balance) -> JPEG file.

The time has come to judge the entries.

This image selection was not too challenging, but there were still some variations in the entries which were all pretty nice.
If I am selected to host again I will find a more challenging image to share.
So here are my choices.

Winner is griffjg - All tones ,color ,crop were excellent.

#2 was Kai 1 entry #2 I liked the B+W

#3 Gecko. nice job.

Thanks for the win @Rob R . I'll take a look through some of my more recent photos to find a suitably challenging image for the next one.
