Fuji digital zoom

Hello All,

I'm wondering what personal opinions there may be regarding Digital Zoom on the X10? It's understood that digital zoom is generally frowned upon, but is it any different in the X10?

I can see using it to zoom in for a quick Exposure reading and I've used it a bit and in some cases don't see much of a difference.

So, how does everyone feel about its use?

I saw a post elsewhere and just cropping was just slightly better than the digital zoom. Probably couldn't tell the difference in a print.

Once I learned how to maximize the capabilities of the EXR sensor, i never bothered to use the digital zoom function, figuring that it would be a crop an already reduced image (6mp) since I was always shooting in DR or SN mode...
