I promised my Little Legs I will treat her this year to a nice haircut at a doggie saloon, all-optiona-included. They promised they will make her look extra Yorkie... And they managed to do that.

She does look extra cute. She got a complementary bandana and because I felt guilty for having to live her alone for an hour and a half she also got a new Squeeker.

Of course her being her she is great at getting excited and running for the ball ... But absolutely useless at bringing the ball back.

On the bright side today I got confirmation that I can bring her with me at my therapy sessions as my emotional support dog.

It’s the last weekend for these two best friends. After 19 months of fostering Jo, she’s being called up to the big leagues, to go onto her next stages of training to be an assistance dog. I turn her in on the 20th, but I’m away next weekend. I’m not sure how either Nacho, or myself will handle this.

That's the only downside of fostering assistance dogs, Chris.

Awwwwwww, such beautiful and soulful eyes. I am sure she will be missed and it will not be easy. I couldn't do it, to be honest.

That's a beautiful sacrifice... to bless someone else while breaking your own heart ❤️

We don't get any peace until we shut the blinds :D
Wish that would work for me but either I have a dog with Superhearing superpower or I have the most loud kids in the neighborhood (which personally I don't mind, it brings joy to my heart every day when I hear kids laughing and playing). She is the most fearsome guard dog I could have. Despite her size she's probably bark Gojira into an early grave if he would try to get inside the house.

And she has one of the cutest barks (I think) where she tries to bark so hard her head flips back and she jumps like she was zapped. She really tries hard to keep everyone away from our home... Even when I ask her not to :p

Wet doggy us a fun doggy :p

Excellent, dynamic framing. I just have one question: what is that "dust" in the penultimate photo? Is it some pollen from the meadow?
Thanks. It's not dust, it's actually rain as I got caught in a quite unexpected shower and I made these images just seconds before I made the rainbow pictures on the Share Rainbows. I was actually in a rush to position myself in front of the dogs so I can frame them with the rainbow behind them but the rainbow faded away before I could get the shot.
