Went out for a walkie yesterday:

Happy as a piglet in s£&t. Unfortunately the camera/lens miss the focus my a fraction of millimetre behind her eyes but I tried my best to get some sharpness and clarity to overcome it. On small size/large view it looks ok but it wouldn't hold up on a large print, but since it's for my home I don't mind it and I just want it for her expression, her happy ears and her front paws being in the perfect position.
I uncorrected the vignetting and added a bit more to give it a even stronger attention to her.

I love the half tunnel aspect of this area, especially in full summer with the green surrounding and more so in the autumn with orange and red and yellow from top to bottom. Easily my top 3 locations I know for portrait photography, the left side is open to a water canal and the light can come in (though the sun's path is always on the right side) and there are larger gaps that allow for spotlight that can make the subject stand out against the darker background. The swirly nature of Sony FE 85mm f 1.8 works amazing in this spot. If I had a subject that sit still for half a second I would love to do a bokehrama here.

Nothing comes as close to happy as open space to run her little heart out. Sometimes I think I have a pretend stallion and not a 4.7 KGs of adorable girl power.
I do wish I had lowered more (I was about her eye level) to put the gap in the trees behind her as her background, I will try that sometime.

Still practicing for pet portrait photography. I do end up with a lot of pictures of her but it gives me ideas for composition, practice bursting and reacting and getting used to my setup.

Playing in the forest. This is the one area I am struggling at the moment. With low light the AF-C is having difficulty keeping up and sometimes I don't get the composition just right because she walks more to the edge then in the middle, or instead of jumping over a root I expected and wanted her to she avoids it by going around.

I don't know I never tried this before, getting a shot of her from behind. I do need to work on compositions and light q bit more to make it a bit more interesting but I like this one quite a bit.
