I received the DP2 the other day.
I like to start shooting with it soon. (Auto to start with)
What are suggested (best) settings for menu and quick setup?
Do look forward to your replies!

I set mine to Aperture priority. Keep ISO low (100-400 - though higher is possible but it affects color, though fine for B&W). Shoot RAW and develop with the Sigma processing software. Use AF or manual focus. Take the battery out when not in use to preserve battery life. Enjoy!

A cool trick is to.....
The focus wheel is very east to move. I cut a small rubber washer to fit underneath the wheel.
I used crazy glue to attach the washer. It applies pressure and when you use MF, it stays in place.
LR does a decent job on the raw files but LR is not designed for fovean sensors.
It works mind you but for critical work, the Sigma processor is better.

Thanks Andrew and Don for your advice / tips.
If I connect the camera to internet does it have access to firmware updates from Sigma automaticly? (link plse, thanks)
Is firmware updated often?

Thanks Don. Which software do I need to edit the RAW files, are you aware of any good free software for editing like Picasa, by the way does Picasa support RAW, mm don't know. I know that software package was included with the DP cam, what you suggest, is it better to use this?
