Drive By Photography

Since I don't get the chance to go out for photo walks as much as I'd like. I figured I keep shooting during my drive home. I have some interesting routes as I travel from the south bay in Los Angeles up through Hawthorne and Inglewood until I get home in Hollywood.

All of these photos are taken with my x10 from the drivers seat. It's already proven to be a fun challenge as I only have a few seconds to setup and take a shot before it's gone. I'm going to try and vary my route as I work on this series so it's not the same old shots every time. =)

I do not know what drives this method
Of answering posts in verse perfected
But surely it must take more time
To respond each time in careful rhyme?

Just be careful not to get in a car accident please!!

I typically tend to take them while the car is stopped at a light or a stop sign. If no one is behind me I'll stop for 2 seconds to take the photo but nothing longer. If I can't get it in 2 shots I drive on!

I always check and look around,
Just to be sure I stay safe and sound.
My shots are done at a light or sign,
