Fuji Dynamic range - How much progress we've done in 10 years?

Not so much sadly

I've tested my newly bought X100s vs a 10 years old Fuji S3 Pro, the S3 wins.

I compared RAW files, when matching the highlight range on both cameras (requires DR400 on the X100s), the shadows on the S3 are cleaner.

Also, when comparing the high ISO noise, there is exactly a two stop improvement. i also expected more from 10 years...

oh well.
