Micro 4/3 E-P3 can focus in the dark - and fast!

If you wanted to know if the fast AF was just a daylight trick, this video is fairly convincing I think. Note the exposure value is ISO 3200, f2, 1/5 second - so it is genuinely low light level.

Pretty impressive. Not sure what lens he/she was using though. There is a 2nd video with the EP3 with the mZD14-150. Very fast AF too. Faster than the mZD14-150 on my GH2.

Suspect the new 12mm lens

given that the f2 aperture on the screen. My Pentax K7 would be racking back & forth in better lighting that that inside the house.

It bodes well that this AF system is a good all rounder, and proves an AF light can make all the difference!
