Funny how things work out sometimes - I like this shot, taken with the 7Artisans 35mm f/1.2 II, a lot better than the one I took with the Leica M 262 and the Elmar-M 50mm f/2.8 only moments earlier. The other shot was framed rather poorly ... I should have re-done it, but I have to quote Forrest on this: "Stupid is who stupid does."

So, let's call this the "Elmar killer" for now ...

Thanks Matt, I couldn't believe it myself when I saw this. Phantastic stabilization and incredible sharpness with f=1.8. It's actually a double exposure, the top of the tree was taken deliberately out of focus against the black sky as overlay. This lens is incredible, and slowly I'm beginning to understand this camera, too. And the more I understand it, the more I love it as an even better tool than the OM-4 used to be, which I'd been using for 16 years and which still functions perfectly.
