Imagine what an *ISO 258000* image would look like if current EXR technology was implemented on a full frame sensor?

It would not do much good except dividing the pixels by half so not many would buy the camera.

EXR sensors are Bayer sensors, btw.

EXR is also very mature, the technology was introduced 2008 in the F200EXR, still on a SuperCCD sensor.

Sure, because just like with Foveon, nobody else thinks it's the best way to go. Not even Fuji. There are now other innovative approaches to reduce noise and expand DR in tiny sensors, most of them are targeting the huge smartphone market, of course.
