Just curious Deb, but did your part of VA get hit as badly as the area from Damascus to Mt. Rogers? I was able to drive down from WV and ride the upper section of the VA Creeper Trail in early September, just shortly before Helene arrived. My deepest condolences to everyone in the area who lost a home and/or business, and to anyone who lost a family member.

Hi Tony. My town was spared, but 1 county over and beyond had a lot of damage. Hungry Mother was closed for a while, and different sections of the New River Trail had to close. There are many in NC still without home or shelter, many living in tents. Incredible devastation.
