At present I own three fast standard lenses at either 50mm or 58mm, and thought it would be fun to see how they compare for sharpness and bokeh, at near and far distances, wide open and at f/2.
First at a little over 1 meter behind my office building, first at maximum aperture and then at f/2 in the following order: Leica 50/0.95 Noctilux, Nikko5 50/1.2 and Nikkor 58/1.4. Please ignore white balance as I did no post-whatsoever. Both the Leica Noctilux (4 stop) and the Nikkor 50/1.2 (2 stop) had ND filters fitted.
* The Nikkor 58/1.4 distance shot is overexposed at f/1.4 because I do not have an ND filter, hit fastest shutter speed on my Df (1/4000th) and minimum ISO (ISO 50).
** Leica shots do not reflect accurate aperture in EXIF for obvious reasons
*** Nikon Df has -2/3 exposure compensation due to fitment of a K3 screen from FM3a which is darker than the stock Df screen.
