I don't know about you, but I love a good fence. Or gate. Or stile. Any sort of barrier, really, let's be honest. Ideally wooden but it doesn't have to be.

@Kevin I notice that the first of my 2 photos is rotated by 90 degrees and a bit squished up, when I look at this post on my iPad. As the page loads, it shows a box in the right shape and orientation, but then displays incorrectly. I know there was a discussion about this some months ago; have you heard anything else about this issue?

I found this short section of railing while out riding on a rural bike trail. Have no idea of its function, as there was no drop-off there to worry about.

The photo of Martin reminded me of one I took way back in 2009 with a Mamiya C33 (stil have it). Probably scanned with a Canon 8600F.
