There may be an option to download as a PDF or CSV format file.Went to back-up an on line checkbook and it was sent to a FFB file that I cannot open! Any clues would be greatly appreciated!!
Iron...thanks for your quick response, appreciate. Is there a program like Adobe that I can use to download and open my info? Don't really want or need to enroll in one of Fortora's software programs..FFB is a file type for a Windows program. It is used by Keyence Wave Logger and Fortora Fresh Finance (Backup) by Fortora LLC, so it can be assumed that it's the latter which uses it. Cheers.
Can't locate either of those options, John...There may be an option to download as a PDF or CSV format file.

My online checkbook is the free software program "Moneyspire". Got tired of feeding Quicken's coffers via annual subscription renewals and moved over to Moneyspire. Backed up this years transactions was successful other than the back up went to this FFF file that I can't open....who knew?
Many thanks, John...appreciate you taking the time to help me. What I want to do is back up the calendar year 2022 checkbook activity to an external hard drive for safekeeping. The bugaboo is then trying to open this back up in the FFB file. I do download and print out certain income and expense schedules for income tax purposes. Here is how:

I'm also a CPA...8 years at AA&Co. (before Enron) as an audit manager than financial management in the entertainment industry. Been retired for many years and can now fall asleep on my back swing!I understand. I've been a CPA for over 30 years. Understand the importance of having data backed up in generically useable format.
I've been retired from my public practice since around 2001, but have recently had to come out of retirement to do years of forensic accounting on my brother in law's estate! Ugh. As my wife says "I wish he was still alive so I could kill him!". She was his Executrix.I'm also a CPA...8 years at AA&Co.
