Delta 3200(?) from a year ago. Patiently waiting for spring, as we do now.

A transfer station, on my way back home from Christmas family gatherings.

Shot this roll of Delta 3200 (exposed at 1600) between Dec 7 and Jan 7, developed just today (Apr 25) using very old and worn Microphen stock, mixed in fall 2023. The stock had been used a few times already so I added +40% to the dev time that was 8 minutes according to the MDC.

Scanned using Pentax KP and processed the digital negs in Darktable. Processed the first frame using solely Negadoctor and then applying the same changes to the rest of the roll of 37 frames. So, 4 minutes of processing in total. (If we don't count the tiny crop adjustments and rotations.)

Well ok. Now that I started musing about my processing, I realized that I forgot to turn "base curve" off first. Not the end of the world but it explains the rather stark contrast. We'll see if I spend another 4 minutes doing versions without the initial tone curve. Or maybe I'll start keeping it on for all scans from now on. All in all, I really enjoyed my (second) roll of Delta 3200 (ever) very much, as I did the first roll that I shot the Christmas previous year. I bought two rolls of this stuff on impulse as I saw it for relatively cheap. (10,70 €). I want to shoot more and I see a French place selling this for 10,80 € today.
