Finding my way back into things (colour)

The only photographs I've taken in the last few months have been of rodent remains (skulls and jaw bones) from Barn owl pellets. Having experimented with in camera jpeg settings I took my Leica D-Lux 109 out this afternoon set to jpeg only. The results have had minimal processing in GIMP, levels and sharpening only. These are images taken with the natural photo style setting and some tweaks to contrast and saturation with some fine adjustments to white balance.
