Great shots! Really like the second one - and the fourth one could be hanging in an art gallery :)
(the lighting in the fourth one stands out. Is that all natural lighting?

Spooky - that's exactly what a friend just said, which is ... a little flattering, and strange. I think I see what you mean, though. The light is totally natural. It was overcast, but the sun peeked out at an angle behind us. So between the tree's shade and the clouds, it's got a dark background and well-lit subjects. I saw it, squatted down, changed the settings a little, and got lucky.

#4 impresses me somewhat like a boat - George Washington crossing the Delaware, Capt. Bligh and the mutiny, or even a raft leaving the Titanic. Quite the image...
