I got tired of carrying around my DSLR equipment, so I decided to get Sony RX100 II. Last few days I played with the camera and I love it. Once I figured out right settings, I have been impressed by the image quality. Here are few shots (JPEG format, processed in LR4.4).

Welcome to the forum! You've got a nice camera in the RX100 - I've owned the Mk1 for about 18 months, and it still impresses (and often amazes) me.

Sometimes I even wonder why I bother to have any other gear, as the RX seems to handle almost everything that I throw at it.:) Some users find the camera too small and slippery, but I simply use the wrist strap at all times, which, IME, makes the handling absolutely fine.
