It's those lenses, man. I dunno' what it is about them, but those old Minolta lenses render color like nobody's business. The Sony 35 looks nice, but there's a definite difference between it and the Minoltas. It's almost palpable.

Great work and an impressive set, beginning to end.

Yeah, the Sony is "technically" more correct - but has less character. Even the Tamron 200-400/5.6 has a nice character to it.
At the prices for these old A-Mount cameras and lenses - we could all get one ! :D
