Fuji Focus vs release priority on X-E1?

Is there an option to set Focus priority on the X-E1, or for that matter any other X body? Seems by default the camera is set to release priority. To me a shot out of focus is worth less than no shot at all as it takes up space on the card. Seems like a common feature on bodies beyond the consumer level.

On the XT-1 you have that option. Not on my XE-2.

It's misleading, anyway, as release priority is still focus priority. The camera will always try to focus before it takes a shot. The question is rather what happens if there is no focus lock? The X-T1 offers a choice here, the older cameras don't, they will always take a shot.

Thanks guys. The fact that the XT1 has it gives me hope older bodies could get it. One of the reasons I still love my Nikons.
