Food "On the Road"

Steve's not the only guy eating out. I had an eye appt at the PDX VA today. I am OK, I still have them both, and took advantage of the return trip to swing by Always Spring. It's a Korean joint where mostly Koreans eat. I was the only the only non-Korean there without a Korean with me. I got the popular Bulgogi, beef. It was great as well as were the pickled vegetables. And I am getting the hang of eating there with the metal chopsticks. The food is very good.

That looks just like the Bulgogi beef I sometimes order in Edison NJ. I'm glad you took the time to share your photo 😉

This is my favorite roach coach, El As/zadero. The sad part is that the taste is not so good as it once was. It is still good, but . . . Yeah, I am picky. Anyway I slid by for two Al Pastors and two Carne Asadas, and Gringo Cola. The Gringo Cola is a US produced Coke instead of the Mexican produced Coke. I asked if I could take a photo and the woman at the window said "yes" but "Not me, I am too shy." I fear many non-native born folks are scared as hell in our current political climate. So, one pic of the woman sliding the window shut and one of the coach itself and no pics of the tacos. I just wasn't fast enough. They just vanished in front of my eyes. I do not understand it at all. LOL
