Forum time

I tend to log in several times a day, but for maybe five minutes a visit just to see new posts.
This... A few times a week I'll stay longer and really browse around, but my 5 minute visits occur anywhere between once and ten times a day... I make >95% of my forum visits using my phone. And yes, that means I don't get to appreciate the images I get to see to their full potential...

I'd say I am actively involved in the site with my eyeballs maybe 20 min on an average day, some less and some considerably more. If we're talking about how often I bring the site up to see if any of those little red numbers are at the top right corner of the page, well... that might approach something unhealthy. :hiding:

Hey, I resemble this!

(especially today with several new uploads... :drinks: )

According to “screen time”, I average 38 minutes a day here, and have logged 1hr 54m this week. Not to be exact or anything.
I fool my self-appointed 'guardians' (the nanny state ... ) by using about 4 different devices.
Not really. I couldn't give one hair on a bullock's bum what Google (!!!) believe is 'good for me'. I've been around about 4 times longer than they have.
They're just snot nosed brats, AFAIAC ...

Once logged in, I have a tab open when the PC is on (most of the day) however - I don't know whether it's server capacity or distance,
but I have incredibly poor results in refreshing pages - often only seeing placeholders and images don't come in *at all* (other websites
run quickly without any problems like this - it's only on this forum that I get this issue, other image-heavy platforms are instant / quick)

@Kevin any ideas on what might be causing the performance issues @Irene McC is describing?
