It could actually be for 2 reasons. One is that the 24mm is f2.8 while the 15mm is f4.5 and even though the camera is supposed to compensate the exposure, it probably does not do a perfect job. Another, more important factor is probably that the Leica and CV lenses render color differently...
Great lens! But be sure to get the latest version which is specifically designed and built to remove the magenta fringes found with the earlier versions.

Yes, that is the one. The earlier lenses are fabulous and work fine in for film. They are also fantastic if you shoot digitally in B&W. But when shooting in color, with a digital camera, the magenta tint on the edges is difficult to remove in PP.
