Just an interesting comparison of the 24mm Emarit vs the CV 15mm f4.5
Not really comparing sharpness, rendering, etc., etc. Just comparing the field of view..

It's interesting how the field of view can change the color so much, presumably because of the new elements in the frame.

It could actually be for 2 reasons. One is that the 24mm is f2.8 while the 15mm is f4.5 and even though the camera is supposed to compensate the exposure, it probably does not do a perfect job. Another, more important factor is probably that the Leica and CV lenses render color differently...

Should it be the Mk. III?
Yes, that is the one. The earlier lenses are fabulous and work fine in for film. They are also fantastic if you shoot digitally in B&W. But when shooting in color, with a digital camera, the magenta tint on the edges is difficult to remove in PP.
