Between replacing my dead work computer and my ageing laptop at home, I find myself without Photoshop Elements (at least temporarily). I thought I could use pixlr.com to do what I needed (a goofy head swap), but They don't seem to have a magic wand....and I'm very out of practice with the lassoo.

Anyone have a recommendation for some free software for me to try. I need a "smart select" tool to grab my guy's face and hair to cut it out......and put it on someone else's body.

Adobe was giving away CS2 for a few years, some sites mirrored it.

Adobe Photoshop CS2

You can give it a try. I run it under Win10, Win7, and XP. I bought a lot of versions of Photoshop over the last 25 years, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, and 7.0. Adobe found an error in some server for 7.0 and offered CS2 free for customers. The license number is on the site.

Pixlr's not bad. Now that Linux is mostly stable under ChromeOS Build 69, I've been hankering to try my hand at loading GIMP. But Snapseed as an Android App on Pixelbook tends to get most of what I need done.
