Leica French Huguenot Church, Leica MM/Noctilux

The sky came out very nice- good bit of contrast. did you use any filters for this shot?

No filters, actually. Today I'm getting a Giottos "Small rocket air blower" to see if it can remove the small amount of dust I have on the sensor. It becomes more noticeable when the skies are so good that you aren't doing any default touch-ups. Generally in the summer a lot of haze is present in the sky here in the SE U.S., but this past summer was exceptional for clouds, and I'm expecting a large percentage of days with dynamic skies like this one to continue for the months ahead. I expect to get a yellow filter eventually, but I'll resist a red filter as I don't like to punch up the clouds that way. I might try a polarizer down the road...
