I saw that the clouds broke, and we were getting mixed patches of afternoon sun on the gorge, so I put the XC 50-230 onto the XT1, walked upstairs, and rattled these off with no more effort than snapping a pic of a mailbox. It is stunning here.

Went on an awesome hike Saturday in cloudy mist, to a waterfall. No time to edit yet, but it was nice to get a chance to shoot one of those places in not-harsh light for a change.
