Yes, it's the portrait side of it that's really got my attention, despite the relatively wide focal length. I'm going to Africa in January, not safari, just somewhere with loads and loads of people, in fact rarely will I be shooting one person. In that regard, it's now coming down to whether I get a (non weather resistant) X-E3 to replace my X-T1 or get this lens and right now, getting the X-E3 instead of the 16mm seems a bit silly.The Fuji 16mm is one of the best wide angle portrait lenses ever
