I'm inching towards admitting to myself that I actually like this smaller, slower WR lens just as much as I liked its larger, faster f/1.4 sibling.
At times, though the 35mm focal length in APSC is the equivalent of a so-called 'normal' FOV, it seems more like a telephoto. Regardless of labels, it's a lens which definitely lets one isolate the subject, if one should want to.

While looking for something nearby to photo at the end of the day, yesterday. Our desert rose about to bloom. Hopefully I can repeat the image a few times as blooming progresses. Love the 3d look this 35/2 provides.
My current favorite Fujinon lens... and one of my all-time favorites, on any camera, the svelte XF35mm 'Fujicron'. Versatile enough for available-light indoor images like this one, taken at my local Library.
