Lovely photo...but WB? Is it an OOC JPG at auto white balance? Is so, is that typical for fuji's? I've just picked up a Xe1 and have only shot outside snd been very happy with the OOC jpgs on auto white balance.

Oh, that flare. It's like a blurry disc of golden light creeping up the lens as you tilt more and more towards the sun. It's pronounced, and yet the effect is kind of nice... people pay good money for filters to do that after the fact.

Some fantastic shots on this thread. I bought this lens fairly recently but have used it little, so far. I umm'd and arr'd over whether to get the APD filter version but, although there appear to be differences, to my untrained eye they look marginal and I couldn't justify the price difference. Does anyone on here use the APD version? Is the difference more significant that my perception?

I'm hoping to get out and use this lens a bit more once the weather improves a bit (and I hopefully get a bit more free time).
