Photozone posted their fuji x-pro lens test results:

It looks like the software distortion correction is becoming the norm. Although 35mm has the lowest distortion, 60mm got the highest IQ with wide open sharpness and smooth bokeh.

I've stopped trying to use mine wide open and have been getting much better results at f8.
