I've been considering this camera for a long time - ever since a friend of mine bought one on the advice of people on this site. I have been very pleased with the Fuji XF1, so when the X10 finally dropped below $300, I pulled the trigger.

Yes, the X10 is far from the latest and greatest, and the X20 is better in some ways. But I'm having fun with Fuji's EXR technology and the price is right. I'm not worried about the X20 - but if the X30 comes with the exposure logic of the XQ1, I'd be interested. But that's down the road.

What a terrific deal. Now buy 2 extra batts, make sure you're V2.0 in the software (if you've got the Q-Menu when you push the RAW button, it's already onboard), and have a ball. For me, the lens alone is worht $299, what a gem.

BTW, it makes a great motorcycle travel camera.

Well I had to use Amazon credit to finance my newly ordered, used X10, so I missed out on this deal.

Of all the small sensor point and shoots I've had and got rid of, I've missed the X10 most. The unit on the way has a 21A serial number, so at least I'm sure the orb problem doesn't afflict it. If I'd know about this new deal, I might have waited, but -hey! - $60 difference, while not huge, is not nothing either, at least not on my budget.

Congratulations! My example has a serial number starting with 22A, so I think I'm safe. I think a great (and much-less expensive) way to feed one's GAS is with close-out and lightly used examples of cameras you wished you bought when they came out or regretted letting go.

EDIT: B&H still has the X10 listed for $299 as of today, Dec. 6.
