Ok I have done it! Just picked up the black xe1 with 18-55 and 35 1.4 lens from my local Camera store. Battery is charged. Now all confused about how to update firmware. The 18-55 lens came with an SD card saying "firmware update". Am I supposed to use this? Not sure if it is for the lens or camera or both. I searched on line, it seems the newest firmware is for the camera and 35 1.4. Is that right? Fuji website says to update firmware for lens same time as camera. Does this mean I use the 35 with the camera while updating or do I use the 18-55 first and the use 35 1.4 to update the lens?
If someone on the forum can post a step by step instruction to go about this update process I would be grateful! Coming from a P&S I have no experience with firmware upgrades.
