Nice! I’ll probably go the same route shortly. I do have and love the Mk1, but on an XPro makes sense for the WR alone, with the aperture ring a big nice to have.

The 27mm Mk. 2 seems to be very noisy according to this video. Go to time 10:23.

I cancelled my order for the 27 Mk II. I decided to hold off for a while.

I got rid of my 18/2 and 27/2.8 partly because of how loud they were to focus. I will only tolerate it on my 35/1.4

Speaking only for myself, I'm not too concerned with the noise. Pentax screw-drive does the cha-cha-cha.

Depending upon finances, purchase of the 27mkII might be pushed back a few months.

Oh yes, my old Minolta A-mount lenses did a lot of grinding and buzzing too.

I had no real issues with the image quality of the 27, I mostly wasn't so fond of the focal length.

I'm the same with the 50mm FoV.

It's nice to have the choices we have to accommodate our personal tastes.
