Fuji Fuji XF 27 MkII

I would describe the rendering of the 27 as very sharp, almost to the point of being clinical. The optical “flaws” it does have are not bothersome and can either be corrected in post or fall under the heading of “character”. Of course, given the nature of Fuji colors/jpegs/xtrans sensors, the bodies make it hard for any lens to be genuinely clinical.

Somehow, I've ended up with two Fuji 27mm f/2.8 lenses. It has to do with gfving a camera and a couple of lenses to my nephew, who didn't take to the kit. But the time I got the kit back, I had purchased a second 27mm. If the new version is as we're led to believe, I may sell one and buy the new one - with the other original still paired with my non-WR X-E3, along with the 15-45mm pancake zoom.
