We got out for a quick walk this afternoon. First time I've had to try the 35/f2. Liking it a lot. X Pro1, 35/f2, ISO640, f2, processed in LRCC.

Thanks for the reply. I'm liking the way it writes the images. So far I've only tried it on the X Pro1 body. I plan to get out tomorrow with it again and will post some more.

Congratulations!
I am curious what tour thoughts are about the differences between the 35mm 1.4 and 2.
I've always been impressed by the performance of the 1.4
pniev - thanks for the comments. I too am a big fan of the 35/1.4 and have used it traveling many times. The 35/1.4 is a bit bigger but not by much. From what I'm reading the 35/2 may be a bit sharper but I'm not really sure. It certainly has some "glow" wide open at f2 that I like and the bokeh is very nice and smooth.
Please pardon the cell phone shot, I've attached a bit of "camera porn". I really like the look and feel of the lens too.
Good luck.

Bill - I think you're going to enjoy it. For some reason it reminds me in appearance to a Skopar I had awhile back. Truthfully, I don't think I have a "bad "Fuji lens but this one just feels right to me as a "walk around" lens.
Just snapped this of our younger son home from college for Thanksgiving break. 'Still half asleep but cooperating. ;-) A bit of camera motion. Shot at f2, processed on LRCC and Tonality Pro.
'Hope yours arrives soon. Looking forward to your thoughts on this lens.
