Good looking. Actually it was a big "woow" moment when I saw the top half of the first photo, and then I scrolled down and it started to look like the bright areas might be too bright, I guess I'm looking for more mid-tones.

Still very very impressive.(y)

Some more Astia goodness...again with the Ektar film simulation:

Although it hasn't been added to since 2020, this is an interesting thread (for me). I have preferred Astia since I first acquired an X100T in 2015, and all in bodies since, although I have recently been trying Provia in my X-T3.
I quite like the Ektar 100 simulation, posted by gryphon1911, and I think I will use this as a starting point. Watch this space!

I think the normal settings are better to my eye. On the second post it's a closer call, then I noticed the exposure is different between the two. On the first post, there is a little loss of shadow detail with the Ektar settings. They all look good.

I don't have a great display, great eyesight and I don't know what the subject looked like in person. Comments by others should carry more weight.

My thanks to iamknudsen and camprl1 for your taking the time to evaluate and comment on my photos. I am inclined to agree with your opinions.
Message to self: if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Oh when will I learn?
@Charzes44 , ah, but the fun is in the experimenting, isn't it? Maybe it ain't broke for some photos, but if the mood strikes you right then tweak it!
