The paper got the 35 1.4, the terrible 18, and the 60 f2.4 along with an X-Pro1 when they were first released. Decent gear, but not for guys to whom a proper camera says iPhone on it. So they abused the camera and lenses. I rescued the 35 and cleaned it up -- the focusing ring is a mess and the paint is missing from most all external edges, but I think I cleaned it up pretty well. Yesterday I stuck it on the infrared body and made a picture which it turns out I sort of like.
(The flower pot, by the way, is dark green in real life. As are the leaves of the plant.)
I'll play with the lens some more, though I have to confess that I don't much like normal lenses. A 24 on full-frame is what I like to think of as a normal lens.
