I own the S90, too, and if size matters, the successor of the S90, namely the S95, could be an alternative to the G12. However, I would not buy any compact camera without a swivel screen again. I also prefer the handling of the G12. The handling of the S90 is very good for such a small camera, but due to the much bigger body the G12 offers a much better and (for a compact) professional handling. The image quality is very good, but I must add, that I use only raw files which I develop in Lightroom. I do not know much about the quality of the JPEGs.</p></blockquote><p></p>
