I knew I sometimes wanted something wider than the 23mm f2 on the X100S, and despite favorable reviews, I didn't think I'd be content with the Panasonic 12-32, as low light capability is important to me. The only other viable options were the Olympus 12mm f2 (perhaps too wide, and no aperture ring), and the Lumix 14mm 2.5 (so-so IQ). I've decided my walk-around kit is going to be the GX9 with the PL 15 for wide angles and the film Pen F 38 mm 1.8 for my short telephoto. The 38/1.8 has been sitting on the shelf behind me for over a year with a PF-m43 adapter attached . . . I blame it for the GX9 purchase.
Retirement is just a bit over a month away, and I decided I wanted a small camera with small lenses for my walking/biking around kit. Hopefully this setup will provide me many years of quality use.
At the price the X-E3 is selling for. I’d be tempted to grab another one if I were doing more event work. Have a prime lens mounted to each camera instead of any lens switches.Sigh........ another X-E3. Couldn't pass up the deal. Anyone looking for an X-T3?

If the X-E4 is released anytime soon, it will have the X-T3 hardware. Which isn’t better enough than what is in the X-E3 now to cause any buyers remorse. Are all we new X-E3 owners going to be sorry when the X-E4 comes out?
