My own acquisitions are two things I've wanted for awhile but I finally went and acquired...though the 2nd one took a bit of looking to find the 'right' one. Both for my Pentax KP -
The first is Pentax's magnifying viewfinder (the O-ME53), which makes everything inside the optical viewfinder just a little larger. I have wanted one for some time and, yes, it really works
The second is a classic old piece of glass - Tamron's f/2.8 90mm macro - which also I think will occasionally double as a portrait and light telephoto lens - and which a good friend and former Pentaxian sang the praises of, to me, for some time, telling me it was the sharpest lens he ever used on his older analog Pentaxes. I think only time will tell how it does for me, but the good news is that some older 'legacy' lenses can be purchased for, almost literally, the metaphoric price of a song.
And lastly, one of the first photos taken with the lens, just to see...
