Weird! Did they identify the actual transaction that compromised the card? It kind of sounds like they didn't understand the situation properly and blocked the AliExpress transaction... but, apparently, it just wasn't in the stars for you to buy the lens right then 😄

I've found that it doesn't always require a transaction for a card to be compromised, it can be the scammers computer generating numbers that they test until they get a success.

I have been following a evilBay auction for 2 weeks, first listing had no bids and after the refresh I waited to see the activity and there was none so on the last 24 hour I made a bit for 210 £ for a Samsung NX 60mm f 2.8 Macro ED OIS SSA and in the last 60 seconds someone came in and sniped it from me.

In the afternoon I went out shooting macro with the NX500 and 30mm f 2 pancake with Raynox M-250 and the Samsung SEF41A flash and I was getting such beautiful images with gorgeous colours while waiting for the auction to end at 19:00.
Looks like I will have to wait a while longer.
