Testing begins tomorrow to see if this will work for me. (Yes, I need a new piece of sweep material. And no, I didn't clean the cameras before snapping the shot.)

Haven't had a silver-bodied camera since the X100 and EM-5, and the AE-1 Program before that. Liked the silver on the X100, didn't like it on the Canon or Oly.

I have decided I like this one. I guess I'll see how well it wears over time. IMHO it will never match the old hard chrome or black over brass aged patinas.

It's a truly handsome camera, Gordon.
In fact, it more than merits the adjective 'drool-worthy'

It is nice camera, but be aware, it is leaking dust to sensor and not cleanable by home methods. My sample suffered from this and it helped me to put it back to circulation. I also wasn't fan of the focal length.
Yeah, many users gaffer tape over the mic and speaker holes to minimize the risk. Not sure it totally eliminates the dust issue, but appears to be a significant help.

One more piece of metaphoric PP or Pentax Porn: my two Pentax Q cameras together - my recently acquired original Q in the foreground, on the left, and my Q7 just behind it, on the right. My own version of a tiny camera family portrait---

And though I prefer the monochrome version, I am including a colour shot also, because I see-saw back and forth between the minimalism of black and white, and really liking the red 'SMC' letters on the lens---
